Air elementals are elemental creatures made of air, wind, storms, and weather. Air elementals, the violent and territorial monarchs of the skies, favor the dark bottoms of the mines for their lairs. These creatures appear as crackling clouds ans storms. Air elementals create whirlwinds to suck up their enemies and also blind them with dust storms.
They can be often spotted with the ebon cultists or with just the thugs and bandits. They sometimes hide on the ramparts from where they can easily shoot the approaching enemy. When the enemy gets close to them they start running away.
The arctic wolf prefers cold climates and is stronger than its lowland relatives. Thus far, they have only been spotted in Vertas Pass. Their hides may be used to create leather.
A zombie is an undead that has a decomposed body and comes out in certain areas at nightfall. They have no reason, no conscience, no humanity and can not speak. They can't even communicate with other zombies. They have no force, are slow and can't run fast. Because a zombie has no reason, they can't have the idea to take a weapon, that's why thier only weapon is thier hands. A zombie feeds on human flesh of the living. A zombie doesn't feel pain, doesn't matter if you hit them so beware of all the zombies, even if they don't have a leg or an arm. Don't let them touch you or you get the plague and you can spread it to others just by contact.
An outlaw who inhabits the wild lawless areas and are often found in small gangs. They try to take by force any traveler who happens to wonder into their camp. Be very wary of these highway men as they are never alone and often found with thugs.
Often found leading groups of bandits and thugs, they are slightly stronger and faster. They hang out in lawless, remote areas looking for an easy target to direct their small gangs to attack. Travelers should be wary of them.

The brown spider is a highly venomous spider that can be found in caves and swampy areas. It is often hunted for the magic reagent, spider silk, which may be obtained by killing it and using a skinning knife on the corpse. There have been rumors that the eyes might be useful to those hoping to enchant weapons or armor and the venom sack might be useful to alchemists, but this has yet to be proven.

Earth elementals are elemental creatures made of the rock, and energy of the earth itself. An Earth Elemental is a hulking mass of rock which bears a humanoid torso, a head with glowing eyes, and two muscular stone arms. Its torso trails away into a pile of formless rock that floats along the ground. Earth elementals are the strongest of all elementals and are beings of destruction. They use their tremendous strength to batter their enemies. They move through stone as easily as a human walks along the ground, and while they look like they might fly, they always remain in contact with the ground.

The elite elf archer seems much stronger than his weaker cousin, and this is readily felt when hit by one of their arrows!

Like the elite elf archer, the elite elf fighter seems to be physically stronger than his weaker cousin, the elf fighter. Be prepared for a good 'sting' when hit by any elite elf fighter!

The elite elf mage not only seems to be stronger physically, but the spells that he casts are likewise stronger than the standard elf mage.
|Feral Fire Elemental
The feral fire elemental has abandoned the natural ways of fire and will gladly kill you with her embrace.
The fire elemental lives in areas where lava abounds.
Ghosts most commonly live in sewers, but they have also been spotted in Ravensmoor. These undead seek to suck the life from any of the living they come into contact with. It is understandable why so many flee upon the sight of one!
These giant arachnids are distantly related to spiders, and have two front claws and a curved tail with a poisonous stinger at the end. They cannot be field dressed.
Grey wolves are a slightly more dangerous species of wolf. The hides they yield when field dressed makes this wolf a prime target for new avatars who are still learning to hunt.
The aggressive grizzly bear is very strong, and they do yield hides when field dressed, and if one survives a grizzly attack, one might as well take the valuable hides.

The hardened elf fighter has apparently spent some time on the battlefield and seems to be physically stronger than his weaker cousin, the elf fighter. The items they carry varies.

Though not as strong as the elite elf mage, the hardened elf mage is not to be ignored. Like other elf mages, they cast very hard and fast spells and carry various equipment.
The race known as Kobolds can be found in many places. Little is understood about them, but they do not seem to care much for humans or avatars. Even the most common of kobolds carries a warhammer, which they will gladly use on you if angered. They usually also carry a small amount of gold.
The Kobold weaponsmith may be found in the Kobold War Camp. He will actually sell you items, which shows that some Kobolds will deal with humans!
The Kobold archer carries a longbow and a few arrows in addition to a bit of gold.
Banditry does not seem to be an activity exclusive to humans! Kobold bandits have taken refuge in West Ravenswood and taken over the Graff Gem Mines. Like many Kobold warriors, they carry a warhammer.
A Kobold Commander has been seen in the Kobold War Camp - and yet little is known about him. He does appear to carry a war hammer, however.
Kobold fighters have obviously had some serious training. They can be found in a few locations in New Britannia and can be highly aggressive. Like many Kobolds, they carry a warhammer.
The Kobold mage is actually the easiest Kobold to kill - if you can get past the fire spells they love to use on you. They always carry either a wand or a staff and just a small amount of gold.

Extremely aggressive, these wolves have, thus far, only been spotted in Vertas Pass. They give good hides, which explains why many hunters seek them out.

The large brown spider is one of the deadlier of the species. It can be found in many different habitats and has infested the Graff Gem Mines. When field dressed, it yields both spider silk and venom sacks.

The large grey wolf seems to be closely related to the arctic wolf. Unlike the arctic wolf, however, they live in a large number of diverse habitats from the plains to the forests of Novia. Like all wolves, their hides may be used to create leather.

The large red spider, so-named for the red spot it sports on its back, is the deadliest spider encountered to date, and by far, the most difficult to kill. It loves swampy areas although they have also moved into Deep Ravenswood.
The Large Skeleton is harder to kill than the Large Skeleton Mage and Large Skeleton Archer. They carry corpse wax, ectoplasmic residue, and a little gold. They seem to have forgotten how to take care of their weapons, as the rusty swords you will find on them are always in poor condition.

Like the Large Skeleton Mage, the Large Skeleton Archers pack a punch you will notice. Like the common Skeleton Archers, they seem to prefer longbows, and thus, can hit you from quite a distance. They carry corpse wax, ectoplasmic residue, a little gold, and of course, that longbow.

Unlike the Large Skeleton, the Large Skeleton Footmen seem to have had more training. They are much harder to kill. They do not carry corpse wax, but they do carry a little gold and the ectoplasmic residue found on all skeletons. They carry an iron longsword which is in much better condition than the rusty swords carried by other skeletons.

The Large Skeleton Mages are significantly tougher than the weaker common Skeleton Mage and are best avoided by young avatars. They carry corpse wax, ectoplasmic residue, a little gold, and a wand.
|Large Timber Wolf
The large timber wolf appears to be a lowland relative of the large arctic wolf. Like the arctic wolf, it is quite aggressive, but its hides are often sought by craftsmen.

The large wolf spider seems to prefer forest areas. It is the weakest of the large spiders, but that does not make it any less deadly. When field dressed it commonly yields up to 2 spider silk and a venom sack, making it a good source of spider silk for those who follow the arcane arts.
Lich Archers can kill you with not only deadly arrows but also by sucking your life dry. They can make formidable foes for any adventurer.
The Lich Fighter is the weakest of all the liches - and yet they can kill even experienced avatars if they are not careful. Luckily, these undead have only been found in a few places.

A nasty carnivorous plant who roots you and pulls you back as it tries to eat you. It also uses it's roots to hit you in a ranged attack before it snares you. If caught it will swallow you whole!
Nestor is a necromancer who has taken up residence with the Red Sash Bandits. The bandits are none too fond of him, but they dare not challenge him, after seeing him turn their leader, The Wolf, into an undead skeleton.
The Obsidian wolf is the strongest and most aggressive of all wolves. It is clearly identified by it's black coat and only lives in a few small areas of New Britannia.

The wolf pack leader is peculiar to Valeway South (South Valeway). As the strongest wolf in the pack, it is understandable that he would lead it. Boden in Braemar is particularly interested in seeing the demise of this particular wolf.
